resources and their value to the state.
A list of Mississippi's
10 Most Endangered Historic Places is unveiled every other year and travels the state in the form
of a photographic exhibit to raise awareness of the plight of many
of our unique historic resources. Many previous listings are now
under restoration because of the attention brought to those places.
A jury of 10 people from around the state has the difficult task
of selecting the 10 properties in Mississippi that are the most
threatened out of the submitted nominations.

will understand who they are."
